Geometrical Shapes with Sand and Sound Frequencies

Amplified tones rising in pitch and gently vibrate against a thin sheet of metal.

Sand is continuously applied to the sheet of metal and causing geometrical shapes to appear before our eyes. 

A new shape is formed as the tone continues to rise in frequency.

This is a clear demonstration of how sound affects physical objects, but how does this experiment reveal what happens within when we listen to a piece of music?

Can sound impose some kind of ordering within our psyche as we listen to a piece of music and does the ordering take form as shapes - geometrical or otherwise?

There must be a substance within us that responds to the notes of a composition or else music would have no effect on us except as a form of stimuli similar to that of a hot stove or the hardness of a heavy object.

What is the substance and what is the link that ties music to our emotions? There must be more to our experience of music than vibrations bouncing off of our eardrums.

Life force or a kind of mental energy must be affected by the layers of sound that make up a song or symphony. Since each piece of original music is unique there must be innumerable impressions which have been made on us over our lifetime.

All forms of music must be possessed of a unique tapestry of vibrations in some physical or emotional way "shapes" us? Is there a sort of secret psychic geometry that gets generated and calls up specific emotions, memories, and thoughts with each piece of music we hear?

That which has shape might also have texture and produce within us an entire landscape of emotions formed as mountain ranges and valleys within our minds. 

An entire universe might be constructed and destroyed in the span of one song. Order begins to assume form, makes everything appear solid, and then dissolves psychic energy back into random and unformed chaos.

This is how mental energy probably looks when it is disturbed by multiple sounds interacting.
