This is a wonderful example of a sonic weapon in action.
Many of you who may have seen the movie Minority Report may remember one of the
fight scenes where Tom Cruise uses a “shotgun-like” sonic impulse weapon that
throws back an object hit by its sonic burst. In the movie, the weapon appears
to be non-lethal, but provides sufficient protection to shock or ward off an
enemy long enough for you to get away from the dangerous area. Now if only they
could manufacture these weapons as a handgun and lower their price per unit and
get them into Walmart and Costco.
I think they’d be a big seller and I’d certainly buy one.
