Here’s a video demonstration with rock singer Jamie Vendera
from The Voice Connection on how he shatters glass with his voice. The way he
describes how he’s able to do it is by using the idea of matching the resonance
of the glass – the glasses natural pitch – and building volume at that
resonance via voice alone or amplification to eventually shatter the glass.
I thought this would be an interesting video to catalog for
you to further illustrate, not only the power of sound, but also of the human
voice as a beautiful instrument and a sonic weapon.
